Team USA's Elisha Nelson broke the US National A2 slalom record at the Northern California State Championships held at Bell Aqua Ski Lakes on July 13, 2020.
The previous national record belonging to Elisha was 5.50 buoys at 43kph (26 mph/15 off). Her new record of 3 buoys at 49kph (30mph/15 off) surpassed that by over a full pass.
Elisha has been skiing competitively for three years and in those three years this is third time she has set a new A2 slalom national record.
We look forward to her continuing to break national records and to some day set a world record!
